To arrange an appointment you have the following options:
It is strongly recommended that you obtain a referral from your GP to see Dr Morgan.
What to bring to your appointment:
If you choose, you can fill out our Online Patient Registration Form.
Rescheduling/cancelling an appointment:
Telephone our office during business hours and, is possible, allow at least 1 days’ notice so that we can offer the appointment to other patients on our waiting list.
Scheduling
As appointments are scheduled, we do try to run close to time as we recognise that your time is valuable.
Sometimes patients take a little more time than expected and occasionally emergencies occur which could cause delays. If delays are expected, you will be informed upon your arrival.
The consultation fees levied at our practice are advised at the time of booking your appointment. Payment is required on the date of consultation.
Veteran Affairs'patient:
We welcome Veteran Affairs' patients and will forward your account to DVA directly.
WorkCover/Third Party consultations:
We recommend that you obtain your WorkCover claim number prior to attending your appointment.
Third Party claims require an approval letter from your solicitor
Private Health Cover
Surgical accounts are forwarded directly to all major Health Funds(as listed in Extra Information). A written Informed Financial and Surgical Consent form is provided when your surgery is booked.
Uninsured patients
An estimate of fees outlining surgical costs for any procedure can be provided at your consultation. Surgery can be undertaken as either a private patient or as an intermediate patient.
We are happy to refer patients to the public waiting list at the Ipswich General Hospital if that is your preferred treatment location.
We actively participate in Known Gap/No Gap schemes with the majority of the Health Funds.
Prior to surgery, an Informed Financial Consent is provided to each and every patient. It is explained to each patient that their surgical account is sent directly to their Health Fund for settlement.
Depending on your health fund, out of pocket costs are always provided to the patient prior to surgery, unless in emergency situations.
